Appendix  /  history of D 25:

Sent new to the U.S.A in 1950.Reported raced by Briggs-Cunningham on SCCA circuit.
1951 Served as a prototype for Briggs Cunningham’s C2r Sports racer. Fitted with Cadillac V-8 engine and deDion rear end.(information based on letter of Briggs Cunningham in1989 but he may have confused it with D15)
1955 Purchased by Jim Bennett of Cleveland, Ohio and he refitted the original Healey engine from D 18.
1962 Owned by Jack Ensley and raced at Mid Ohio.Used as Promo car for Mid Ohio. Ensley tied with Masten Gregory for &th driver of 1953 SCCA season.
1964 Purchased by Phil Boyd of Ohio
1964 to 1989 owners include J Hayes- Harlow from the UK and William Lassiter from Florida
1990  Mille Miglia participant, driver William Hinkle and David Nisbet.
